About GuardMyTrade
GuardMyTrade helps you customize trading rules, test them on past trades, and protect selected accounts where a verified broker capability supports it. The app keeps requested, waiting, applying, failed, unavailable, and verified states clear instead of calling every request Blocked.
Willpower fails under stress. When you're down and the "perfect" setup appears, the calm, rational version of you has already left the room. GuardMyTrade enforces your rules exactly when you can't enforce them yourself — which is the only time they actually matter.
Active day and futures traders, prop-firm traders protecting a challenge, and anyone rebuilding discipline after a drawdown. If you have a plan but struggle to follow it in the heat of the moment, GuardMyTrade is built for you.
Windows and Android clients are available, with macOS and iPhone clients in development. Signed-in clients can show synchronized account intent and status, but broker-verified protection is the authority and Apple device shielding is not currently offered.
The Windows client can run quietly with a status icon in the system tray. Supported cloud broker protection is tracked separately from the app window, and the status shows if current broker verification is unavailable.

Simulator, Rules & Insights
The Simulator tests customizable My Rules on completed trades synced from your broker. Compare actual history with a historical estimate before costs under different limits, or enter a prop firm's challenge terms. It does not invent trades, predict future performance, include trading costs unless stated, or change your live rules.
Each customizable rule walks you through the limit, the exact accounts it protects, and what happens after a breach. The recommended action waits until positions and working orders are cleared. Where a certified account capability supports it, you may separately authorize cancellation or closing; Blocked appears only after provider verification.
Insights begin after 25 completed trades are recorded. Analysis then shows process scores, repeat patterns, calendar and month views, source freshness, and evidence behind each observation. The findings can suggest an actionable next step, but they do not guarantee a trading outcome.
Protect account enrolls that exact demo or live account in automatic rule evaluation. Turning it off keeps the account connected for balances and journal history. Block this account targets only the canonical account you choose; broader protection is a separate explicit action.
The status tells you what has really happened. Lock requested, Waiting until flat, and Applying protection are still in progress. Blocked appears only after Tradovate confirms GuardMyTrade's hard restriction. Releasing remains visible until Tradovate confirms that restriction was removed. You can still open Tradovate, view charts, and reduce or close exposure while account-level protection is active.
Rules & Enforcement
How lockouts work
Daily loss limit, max trades per day, cooldown after a loss, trading time windows, daily profit target, and a consecutive-loss stop. Turn on the ones that match how you actually get into trouble — and combine as many as you like.
A verified broker restriction follows its configured release workflow. The app distinguishes desired release from releasing and provider-verified removal. The coach and accountability features support the discipline plan, but neither is presented as proof of broker enforcement.
Only when you explicitly choose and authorize close-on-breach for that rule, and the selected broker and account capability support it. The recommended default waits until you clear positions and working orders yourself. New exposure is described as Blocked only after the broker verifies its restriction.
You can customize rules and their exact account scope when changes are allowed. An active broker restriction follows its verified release workflow; the app reports pending, releasing, failed, and verified removal states rather than promising an outcome before provider confirmation.
The app keeps cloud intent, broker enforcement, and device-service status separate. If connectivity or verification is unavailable, it says so. A broker restriction is shown as Blocked only while fresh provider evidence and matching protection versions support that state.
The mobile client can manage rules and show synchronized account status. It does not promise phone app or website shielding; supported broker-side protection applies to the selected account regardless of which client placed an order.
Removing a client removes that client's local features. It must not be treated as proof that a broker restriction was applied or removed; check the provider-verified account status from an available signed-in client or the broker.
The AI Coach
Your coach, not a cop
The behavioral AI coach lives right in the app. The moment a lock hits, it opens beside your dashboard and talks you through the urge instead of handing you an easy out — and any other time, it's there to debrief a session or help you set an intention for the next one. It keeps getting smarter about your patterns over time.
Early release is deliberately limited and follows the same truthful state model as a scheduled release. A request can show Releasing, Failed, or Unavailable; Unblocked appears only after the provider verifies that the exact restriction was removed.
No. The coach guides you and holds you accountable; it never places trades, sizes positions, or moves money. You always make the call — GuardMyTrade just keeps you honest about the rules you set for yourself.
Accountability
Someone in your corner
Someone you trust — a mentor, trading buddy, or partner — who gets notified the moment you break a rule or try to weaken a protection. Knowing another person will see it is often the nudge that keeps you honest when nothing else does.
Rule breaks and lock events — enough to keep you accountable. They don't get access to your account, your balances, or the ability to trade or change anything on your behalf. It's a heads-up, not a login.
Security & Brokers
Your data & your broker
Yes. You connect through your broker's own login or a token you can revoke — your broker password is never seen or stored by us. Stored connection data is encrypted and used for account facts, synchronization, and authorized protection workflows. It is never sold to advertisers.
GuardMyTrade cannot transfer or withdraw money. Where certified capability supports it, it may cancel working orders or close exposure only for a rule whose action you explicitly authorized. It never opens a new position, and monitor-only connections have no order permission.
The catalog lists 30 supported broker connections today. After connecting, GuardMyTrade shows the certified capability and health of each exact account. Some accounts support broker-side protection; monitor-only accounts provide data without a broker-blocking promise. See the current catalog on the Brokers page.
Yes. Enter the firm's terms in the prop challenge Simulator to compare them with your broker-synced history, then set the matching limits on the accounts you choose. Simulator results are historical estimates, not a prediction or guarantee that you will pass.

The first 1,000 users get lifetime free access — the full product, no strings. After that, it's $9.99/month, $99/year, or $299 once for lifetime access. Founding members help shape the product and get every new feature first.
$9.99/month, $99/year (two months free), or $299 once for lifetime — every plan is the full product, no tiers or feature gates, with a one-month free trial. The first 1,000 users get it free for life.
Yes to both. New users get a one-month free trial with no credit card required, and you can cancel any time — no lock-in and no games.
Your rules and settings are yours. Cancel and enforcement simply stops — nothing holds your account hostage. (If a lock is active when you cancel, it still runs its scheduled course — that's rather the point.)
